The afternoon runs are in and right now it looks like a 3-5″ event for our area this weekend (according to the Euro).

As of now it looks like a Saturday evening until Sunday night type of thing. It’ll last for a bit and anything that falls should stick, but it’s not currently a monster storm.

If something like this was to fall, especially on the higher end, I could easily see school systems delay or close on Monday.

It’s still Wednesday and there’s time for things to change in either direction (from very little snow to a bigger storm).

I’ll have updates all week.

Bootcamp, Beer, & Brunch on Sunday, 1/20 at 12pm!

Bootcamp will take place at Gold’s Gym in Gaithersburg (Woodfield Rd.) and the rest will be over at Dogfish Head Alehouse – Gaithersburg, MD immediately after!

All fitness levels can participate and it’s all for only $30. No better way to get in shape and enjoy awesome, healthy food! Click the photo to sign up!

All depends on when this ends. 3 inches that ends Sunday at 6 and flights are fine on Monday. 5 inches after midnight and maybe not. Still too early

Capital Weather Gang said that DC and areas around it will see at least an inch. They said that 2-4 inches should fall on Saturday to Sunday. They said it would be a moderate storm. Do you agree with that? And who will get more snow, places south or north?

Is there any chance that we could get more than 5 inches (maybe 6 or 7)? I heard a few days ago that the high end of the GFS model is 9 inches. Is there any chance of that?
And also, where do you get access to the models? Is there a website or software?

Hey MoCoSnow! So me and my friend made a map, (we love weather) and so, here is how it was for our county.
    3-6 inches
    Boom: 6-8 inches
Bust: 1-3 inches. It’s a little bit on the high end, but I tried to find all the data I could. Tell me how you feel about it! Thank you for giving Montgomery County weather predictions. I’ve been listening to your podcasts!

It got pushed down a little. Usually Euro malfunctions on the last day and then the afternoon model is more accurate. Today is the last day for models since the storm will develop tomorrow.

It’s not the last day for models, we just switch over to short range models.

The new forecasts are giving us 3-6 inches.. Do you think they will close school if that pans out? Also, the new NAM model shows 7 inches.
