What a week…and we’re not done yet.
As most of you have probably seen, a Winter Weather Advisory in effect Friday from 6am-3pm.
Accumulations of less than an inch to one inch likely between 7am and noon for MoCo.
The National Weather Service also warns for the “potential for hazardous commuting conditions for the Friday morning commute.”
Though not much snow is expected, everything that falls will stick. This will be the type of snow that you can wipe away, but…it’s still snow.
Timing is important with this one. As of now, the expected onset is between 5-7am for places like Damascus and 7-9am for the rest of us. If things start around 9, a delay would have us out in the thick of things.
There’s not a Pencil Prediction that covers this, so as of 6:10pm it looks like everything is in play (full day of school, delay, and a day off).
